Slab Built Vase Workshop

 

Join me to learn the art of slab building and create your own tall cylindrical vase, customized with the adornments of your choice. During this two day workshop, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to craft a piece that’s uniquely yours.

Week 1: Learn slab building techniques to form a cylindrical vase. You will have the opportunity to add three-dimensional sculptural elements to the vase or carve a design into the surface.

Week 2: Explore the colourful world of underglazes & add surface designs to your bisque fired vase. 

Tuesday 16th and Tuesday 23rd, September from 5:30PM - 8:00PM
$110 per person, includes materials, tools firing & glazes

Basic clay experience required. This is a two day workshop. Work will be available for pick up from The Clay Warehouse approx. 2-3 weeks after the last class.
